Newsbrief: Judge’s ruling threatens Cookies’ solvency, exec
A California judge ordered the parent company of Cookies to assign the rights to "100% of all royalties, commissions, and license fees" that it receives from 19 partners to the owners of Berner's on Haight, a now shuttered San Francisco dispensary.
The order, handed down this week, and first reported by @theblacklistxyz would "result in an immediate insolvency event" and render Cookies unable to pay the $8.7M it owes, Cookies president Parker Berling said in an August court filing. Cookies . . .
