California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) signed a bill cracking down on cannabis packaging and labeling that appeals to children.

The new law, sponsored by persistent industry critic Assemblymember Jacqui Irwin (D-LA and Ventura Counties) defines "attractive to children" to include cartoons, images of people who appear to be below 21 and bubble fonts.
