SCOOP: Calif. regulator pushes back on diversion ruling

Six months after a California judge ruled that the California Department of Cannabis Control's (DCC) use of Metrc failed to satisfy its statutory obligations, the agency is asking the court to reconsider. It argues that a one word change to state law should convince the judge to reverse himself.

In December, California Judge Lee L. Gabriel found that the DCC's use of the track and trace platform "fails to comply" with a requirement that it flag irregular . . .
