ICE raids Glass House farms in California
Glass House farms in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties saw standoffs between masked federal agents and protestors Thursday after the Feds served warrants on one of the state's largest growers.
The standoffs were at a Glass House Farm in Carpinteria (Santa Barbara Co.) and at its massive greenhouse near Camarillo in an agricultural area of heavily Latino Ventura County. ICE has recently expanded its presence in the area. Glass House turned away federal agents in June . . .
