Newsbrief: Calif. lawmaker removes disposable vape ban from bill

In a significant victory for the cannabis industry, California Assemblywoman Jacqui Irwin (D-LA and Ventura Cos.) removed the ban on disposable cannabis vapes from AB 762, a bill to reduce e-waste. It had passed the state assembly's appropriations and business and professions committees this month.
Disposable vapes currently account for about 12% of licensed sales in California.
