Newsbrief: Okla. authorities say state market is major diverter

The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics (OBN) says the state's licensed market is a major diverter of product to the illegal market, something neighboring states have long called out.

Agency spokesman Mark Woodward told a reporter that in a twelve month period between 2023 and 2024 there were 87M pounds of weed tagged in Metrc and only 1.9M pounds sold in the state's MED-only market. The figures don't include the abundance of product which was never tagged . . .
