A proposed ordinance would allow cannabis cafes serving food and non-alcoholic drinks in San Francisco.
Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a law allowing such businesses statewide in 2024, but they still need local permission. Additionally they need to be attached to licensed pot shop and provide adequate ventilation. Before the law, cannabis lounges were only allowed to provided packaged food, reducing their revenue opportunities . . .
