Newsbrief: Square done with hemp payments, report says

With a federal ban set to take effect in November, point of sale payment system Square told a business to stop using it to accept payments for hemp products, Marijuana Moment reported.

In an email, Square reportedly told the business to remove hemp products by October 15, a month before the ban begins. The hemp industry and its allies are pushing to repeal the ban.
