MSO Eaze laid off dozens this week as the company is “preparing for an M&A transaction," CEO Cory Azzalino told WeedWeek. "We have to mitigate redundancies across the organizations”

Eaze is the largest delivery service in California and operates Green Dragon retailers in Florida and Colorado. Billionaire technologist Jim Clark has invested in the company.

Azzalino said the company laid off about 45 of its 1,100 employees. Within the last year the company went through a bankruptcy process
