This morning at 10:44 The Higher Path dispensary in Sherman Oaks got an email saying dozens of SKUs from at least nine brands had been frozen.

Similar emails, which went out to more than 1,600 California operators, create an operational emergency for dispensaries, since they can be fined $10,000 for each frozen unit sold to a customer. "When those emails come, people scatter," The Higher Path's owner Kiloh said.
