UCI STUDY BODES WELL FOR SICKLE CELL PATIENTS

A team working out of UC Irvine's Center for the Study of Cannabis has completed a study indicating marijuana can be an effective treatment for pain accompanying sickle cell anemia. The findings by UCI's Kalpna Gupta and UC San Francisco's Donald Abrams appear in JAMA Network Open. Science Daily
