SCOOP: March and Ash sues Cookies over hemp-derived products

San Diego-based retailer March and Ash sued Cookies and other manufacturers and retailers of intoxicating hemp-derived products, alleging these products violate California law.
The plantiffs allege that the defendants manufacture, store, distribute and/or sell three kinds of illegal hemp products:
- Products "with THC levels that far exceed 0.3%" (the federal limit for hemp products)
- Products that are "chemically synthesized"
- Inhalable products, such as vapes and pre-rolls
