Stiiizy settled a lawsuit filed this year by a former in-house lawyer. A vehicle controlled by Eric Lightman sued the company, California's best-selling brand and one of its largest retailers, alleging fraud and other charges.

Stiiizy president Tak Sato declined to comment on the confidential April settlement.

Lightman, who joined LA-based Stiiizy's former parent company Shryne Group in 2019 and served until 2022, according to his LinkedIn profile, is now general counsel at rival California retailer Embarc.
