SCOOP: West Coast Cure asks judge to dismiss pesticide suit

The parent company of California cannabis brand West Coast Cure (WCC) asked a judge to throw out a proposed class action lawsuit alleging the presence of banned pesticides in its vapes.

 

The lawsuit claims unexplained "independent testing" found the presence of California-banned (Category I) pesticides chlorfenapyr, paclobutrazol and fipronil in 23 WCC vape SKUs, and the presence of several California-regulated (Category II) pesticides above permitted limits.
