Unrivaled sees lifeline in Cookies deal

Oakland
Vertically integrated operator Unrivaled Brands has announced a deal to acquire two Cookies-branded stores. The deal represents a new direction for Unrivaled, formerly Terra Tech, which has struggled as it vacillated between strategies.
Unrivaled said it has binding letters of intent giving it 12-month options to purchase stores in Redding (Shasta Co.) and Oakland at a not yet determined price. Unrivaled also intends to enter into agreements to operate the stores for up to 25% of net revenue.
