A new analysis of hemp-derived products available to Californians found that 95% contain chemically synthesized cannabinoids, which Gov. Gavin Newsom banned last year. The study, conducted by a group with ties to the state's cannabis industry, alleges that the products pose a public health threat and deprive California of cannabis tax revenue.

The report calls for Newsom's ban on these products, which expires next month, to be reauthorized, and for the legislature to require all hemp products be subject to the same . . .
