- New Cannabis Ventures’ Global Cannabis Stock Index jumped 16.3%, its best week since January 2018.
- The jump came after a bipartisan group of lawmakers introduced a bill which would treat CBD as a dietary supplement, which are much less stringently regulated than pharmaceuticals.
