The question of how to govern CBD is sowing confusion in states:
- Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) and other senior state officials reminded law enforcement that legal hemp is not the same thing as legal marijuana.
Rivard Report - Legal hemp is complicating pot arrests in Florida since “sniff and search” rules may lead to cops initiating a search after sniffing hemp.

- Hemp company HeavenlyRx, which is owned by SOL Global Investments, acquired 25% of Jones Soda for $9M.
